The Ostrea Lake wildfire in Halifax County under control.
It’s six hectares in size, according to the Department of Natural Resources.
The blaze broke out Sunday and was as big as 40 hectares at its peak.
Firefighters will work on hot spots over the next couple of days.
Evacuations were ordered, but everyone was given the all clear to return to their homes on Monday afternoon.
A comfort centre had been set up at the Eastern Shore Community Centre.
