A vulnerable person’s alert and a search is underway for a 32-year-old woman in Annapolis and Kings Counties.
RCMP say Kerstin Marie Wetter was last seen at a loved one’s home around 1:25 p.m., Saturday, near civic 9500 on Highway 10 in Nictaux.
Around 8 p.m., she was then reported missing.

Police say it is uncommon for Wetter to not be in contact with loved ones for several hours, which prompted the call to authorities.
About 50 volunteers are looking for Wetter, Sunday, who is believed to be on foot, focusing their efforts in the Nictaux and Middleton areas.
Teams from these areas are involved in the search:
- Lunenburg,
- Yarmouth,
- Clare,
- Valley,
- Annapolis,
- West Hants,
- North Queens
Saturday evening, roughly 30 volunteers looked for Wetter from the Annapolis, Valley and Digby search and rescue teams.
She is described as 5’4, 205 lbs, with blonde hair and hazel eyes with tattoos of flowers on her right shoulder and left hip as well as an inscription on her left forearm.

Officers are concerned for her well-being and ask if you see her to call police at 902-665-4481 or 911.
