Souls Harbour Rescue Mission is hosting its annual Thanksgiving meal at six locations around the province from noon to 2 p.m.
The following locations are hosting the meal:
- Lower Sackville:222 Sackville Drive (Back lot of Rock Church)
- Bridgewater: 136 Pleasant Street
- Truro: 130 King Street
- Amherst: 6 Maltby Court
- Sydney Mines: 848 Main Street

The Halifax dinner at 5568 Cunard Street will be Monday from noon to 3 p.m.
Souls Harbour CEO Michelle Porter said the number of meals served has increased by 300 per cent since the organization’s first in 2011.
“What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a lifeline for thousands,” Porter said. “Every plate we serve represents someone who might otherwise go hungry.”
Last year, the charity served up more than 470 meals across the province.
