I love watching a show filmed in Nova Scotia. There is just something fun about seeing your home province on TV.
FROM is fantastic and features an actress from Port Hawkesbury!
Sullivan’s Crossing is another show that is not only filmed in Nova Scotia but set here as well.
Season 4 of the show will premieres on CTV March 22 and will stream the next day on Crave. Ahead of that, news broke last week that Scott Patterson will not be returning to the show.
If you watch the show, you know that in hindsight, this decision had been made some time ago since Sully decided to jet set off to Ireland with Helen in a move that his character would likely never do. (this is me trying to apply logic to the story lines in this show lol)
The showrunner has said that while his character is not physically present due to storyline developments, he remains an important part of the world & could potentially return in future seasons.
This news left many fans including me, scratching our heads. He quite literally is the Sullivan in Sullivan’s Crossing aside from Maggie.
Patterson shared his thoughts on an Instagram post that are very much different from what the showrunner has publicly stated.

So it seems there is drama on and off the screen, below is the trailer for season 4. The log chopping competition is very on trend – here’s to another season full of story lines being wrapped up lightening fast, beautiful scenery, a side swoop hair style from Chad Michael that seems to defy what any hairspray should be able to do and no Sully.
