The second of six shows in the 2019 Granville Green summer concert series is Sunday night.
It’s the 25th year for the free outdoor concert series.
Ria Mae takes the stage; Rachel Beck is the opening act.
Paula Davis, the Town of Port Hawkesbury’s marketing director, tells The Hawk Mae is making her return to the bandshell.
“Ria did open- years back- at Granville Green,” she says. “We’re absolutely delighted to have her here- (she’s been) nominated for Junos as well as East Coast Music Awards, (so it’s) going to be an amazing evening.”
The show gets underway at 7 p.m.
Wintersleep started the season July 7; the summer line-up also includes Matt Mays, The Joel Plaskett Emergency and Tim Baker, with the East Pointers wrapping up the concert series Aug. 11.
