The Premier of Nova Scotia says the virus is still among us.
Provincial officials announced one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday.
That brings the total across the province up to 1,059.
Stephen McNeil says “we must remain vigilant and continue to follow public health measures.”
637 tests were completed at the QEII Health Sciences Centre microbiology lab on Saturday.
Three people remain in hospital, two are in the ICU.
Nova Scotia has 45,466 negative test results and 999 individuals have now recovered from COVID-19.
