The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting 110 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
Officials say, after 155 recoveries, there are now 1572 active infections in the province.
They say 83 are in Central Zone, 12 in Eastern Zone, nine in Western Zone, and six in Northern Zone.
Officials say there is still not evidence of community spread outside of Central Zone.
They say there is a small outbreak at the QEII Health Sciences Centre’s Halifax Infirmary. Eight patients in a non-COVID unit have tested positive for the virus and have been transferred to the COVID unit. The rest of the patients in the unit have tested negative. The Nova Scotia Health Authority is testing staff who work in the unit.
