Tokyo will host the Olympics July 23 to August 8. The games were postponed last year due to COVID 19. They will still be known as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games despite taking place in 2021.

Sydney Pickrem is from Halifax. She will be competing in swimming in her 3rd time at the Olympics.

Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu is from New Glasgow. This will be her 2nd games competing in
Equestrian – Dressage.

Tokyo will be the first Olympic Games for Connor Fitzpatrick from Dartmouth. Connor will be competing in Canoe-Kayak – Sprint.

Ellie Black is from Halifax. This will be her 5th time at the Olympics for Gymnastics – Artistic.

Jacob Saunders will be competing in Sailing for his 2nd time at the Olympic Games. He is from Halifax.

Mark de Jonge from Halifax will go for Gold in Canoe-Kayak – Sprint. This will be his 6th Olympic Games – he won a bronze medal in his Olympic debut at the London 2012 games.

Michelle Russell is from Dartmouth. She will be competing at her 2nd Olympic Games in Canoe-Kayak – Sprint.

Sarah Mitton is from Brooklyn. This will be her 2nd Olympic Games competing in Athletics.
