Cape Breton West will have two new coaches this season.
Kyle Gillies will take over the head coach position.
Gillies has been an assistant coach with the team for over 10 years.
He replaces Nick MacNeil who accepted a coaching position in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Cape Breton West will also be adding another body to the bench.
The new assistant coach is former Islander Keenan Gillis from Judique.
Gillis won the Telus Cup with the team in 2017 and has played Junior A since.
