A Tory staffer is out of a job after comments he made about a Black MLA.
Premier Tim Houston confirmed Friday he fired the staffer because of racist comments about Preston MLA Angela Simmonds on social media.
Simmonds said Houston told her about the comments Thursday, and said he was weighing options.

Houston didn’t name the staffer or give the department, but it has been confirmed the staffer was with the Department of Justice.
