The Antigonish-based Songs and Songwriters Society is partnering with the Stan Rogers Folk Festival to produce an event celebrating songs, songwriters and the reopening of live performance venues in Nova Scotia.
George Canyon, Bruce Guthro, Beòlach, Reeny Smith, Owen O’Sound Lee, Chris Kirby, Kim Dunn and rising star Dee Dee Austin to perform a marathon live and streamed concert in Pomquet, on March 26th.
All COVID restrictions are set to be dropped in Nova Scotia March 21st.
StanFest Founder and Producer Troy Greencorn says that StanFest in Canso will be happening this summer as well.
They say that limited tickets are available for the in person concert and an unlimited number of tickets for the live stream.
